Every piece is one of one and we do not do returns, so two minutes with a tape measure saves a lot of heartache. Here is how to find your fit.

1. Measure yourself
- Waist. All the way round your natural waist, the narrowest part, usually just above your belly button. Snug, not tight.
- Hips. All the way round the fullest part of your hips and bum, feet together.
- Waist to floor. From your waist straight down to the floor, barefoot. Add an inch or two if you mostly wear heels.
Use a soft tape in inches. No tape? A piece of string and a ruler work just as well.
2. Read the measurements on the piece
Every listing shows Waist, Hip and Length in inches, measured on that exact pair.
- Two numbers, like “Waist 26/30 in”. The waist sits comfortably at 26 and stretches to 30. If your waist is anywhere in that range, it fits.
- “Up to 44 in”. A fully elasticated waist that stretches as far as 44.
- Hips. Pick a piece whose hip measurement is at least yours. Palazzos are meant to flow, so a few extra inches is normal and comfortable.
- Length. Compare it with your waist-to-floor number. Palazzos look best just brushing the floor in the shoes you will wear them with. Tall? Look for 41 inches and up.
3. Use the size as a starting point
We list UK sizes because that is what the labels say, but our pieces come from many different brands and sizes vary between them. Use the size to narrow things down, and the measurements to decide. As a rough guide:
| UK size | Waist (inches) | Hips (inches) |
|---|---|---|
| 4 | 23 | 33 |
| 6 | 24 | 34 |
| 8 | 25 | 35 |
| 10 | 27 | 37 |
| 12 | 29 | 39 |
| 14 | 31 | 41 |
| 16 | 33 | 43 |
| 18 | 35 | 45 |
| 20 | 37.5 | 47.5 |
| 22 | 40 | 50 |
| 24 | 42.5 | 52.5 |
| 26 | 45 | 55 |
| 28 | 47.5 | 57.5 |
These are typical body measurements, not the measurements of our pieces. When the two disagree, trust the measurements on the listing.
